URSK BOX SET – ARTIST EDITION

Over the course of 2008 and 2009, Utech Records released a series of nine CDs featuring paintings by Stephen Kasner.

The artists included Skullflower, Heavensore, Runhild Gammelsæter, The Stargazer’s Assistant, Klangmutationen, RST, Final, Aluk Todolo and Kasner’s own Blood Fountain.

The series of releases culminated in a box set in 2010. The box contained all nine CDS, a set of art cards, a remix CD, hand-drawn art and a booklet with essays by Kasner and Jenks Miller.

There was also an artist edition never before revealed to the public. This edition was presented in a hand-crafted wooden box and given to each of the participating artists in the series. The box features a skull illustration from Stephen Kasner debossed into the sliding lid.

Recently pulled from the Utech Records Archives and available for sale.
